WTM’s PLAYER PROFILE
Miller pitched for Clemson in 2017-18 and West Texas A&M in 2021.  He didn’t get into much action, totaling just 15.1 IP in the three seasons, all in relief.  He had very high walk and K rates.  The Angels drafted him in 2018 but he didn’t sign.  In 2021, Miller pitched for Ogden of the now-independent Pioneer League.  The Pirates signed him to a minor league deal for 2022.

2021
IND:  5-4-0, 5.71 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, 69.1 IP, 4.9 BB/9, 11.2 K/9

Miller started 13 games for Ogden and got into another ten in relief.  The numbers weren’t as alarming as they look; the league had a 6.98 ERA.

Miller will turn 25 in the middle of the 2022 season.  He could start off at Bradenton.
